Japanese beauty products brand Squalane released an animated commercial featuring the song "Suppinpindego," performed by voice actress Maaya Uchida.
In the video, the character Shizuku, who is inspired by Uchida's real appearance, co-stars in the commercial with the Hitoshizuku-kun brand mascot. The video shows the various problems and sources of stress that various women go through during the day.
About Maaya Uchida
Uchida is a popular voice actress who is currently playing the character Katarina Claes in the anime adaptation of the series of light novels written by Satoru Yamaguchi and Nami Hidaka, Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijō ni Tensei Shiteshimatta (aka Hamefura). However, Maaya has seven voice roles in the series, participating as Katarina's voice as a girl and as a teenager, as well as the five voices of her inner personalities.
Maaya Uchida is also recognized for her roles as Rikka Takanashi in Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai !, Hajime Ichinose in Gatchaman Crowds, and Ranko Kanzaki in The IDOLM @ STER Cinderella Girls.
