Voice actress Mikako Komatsu announced through her Twitter account that she has married her colleague Tomoaki Maeno. The successful voice actors have worked together on more than a dozen productions including Fairy Gone, ClassicaLoid, Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live, Suki-tte Ii na yo, Dr. Stone, Gangsta, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, among others. In Dr. Stone, Komatsu played Senku Ishigami, while Maeno played Kinro.
About Mikako Komatsu
She is a voice actress and singer born in Mie Prefecture in 1988, and is represented by the Hirata Office agency. His first leading role, which was also his debut, was in the series Heroman playing Joey and was what defined his popularity playing young male characters or children. As a singer, she signed with the King Records label until she switched to Toy’s Factory in 2016.
Komatsu has participated in quite a few series, including Eleanor Need, in Fairy Gone, Izumi Shimomura in Ajin, Akane Kanda in Waka Okami wa Shougakusei !, Lupusregina Beta in Overlord, Kanae Otowa in ClassicaLoid, Sei Iori in Gundam Build Fighters, and Penne in Zoids Wild. He also performed musical themes in series such as Nisekoi, Mouretsu Pirates, Ballroom e Youkoso and Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live.
About Tomoaki Maeno
He is a voice actor born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1982 and who is represented by the Arts Vision agency. He is one of the most prolific voice actors in the industry.
Maeno has also participated in quite a few series, including Konro Sagamiya in Enen no Shouboutai, Mika in Kuutei Dragons, White Blood Cell in Hataraku Saibou, Makoto Teruhashi in Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan, Makoto Shimada in Haikyuu !!, Shuu Kouga in STARMYU, Juichi Fukut at Yowamushi Pedal, Reiji Kizaki at World Trigger, and Naotsugu at Log Horizon. He also performed musical themes in series such as Super Lovers, Ensemble Stars! and Brothers Conflict.
