Through the official website for the animated adaptation of the Munou na Nana manga, which is written by Looseboy and illustrated by Iori Furuya, the main members who will be behind the production of the series were revealed.
Shinji Ishihira (Fairy Tail, Log Horizon) will be directing the anime. The scripts will be written by Fumihiko Shimo (Air, Kanon, Clannad) while Satohiko Sano (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun) will be in charge of character design. The series will be animated by the Bridge studio.
Looseboy began publishing the manga in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine in June 2016. The publisher published the sixth compilation volume in July 2019.
