A new promotional video for the project was posted on the official Twitter account for the original Wit Studio anime Great Pretender.
The series will premiere in advance and exclusively on Netflix in Japan on June 2. Netflix also confirmed that it will premiere the series worldwide, but that the Japanese premiere will take place in advance. On the other hand, the series will premiere on Japanese television on July 8 through the Fuji TV channel's + Ultra programming block.
