There is no force that can stop the desire to please fans, even if revenue is lost in the process. This was the great feat of the Tokyo Skytree tower:

The official TOKYO SKYTREE channel on YouTube decided to give the world a look at the show "SKYTREE in MIDGAR FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE", which was held in collaboration with Square Enix and which unfortunately has not been fully exploited, due to the current pandemic it forced doors to close on March 1 (when they had barely opened on February 6).

The exciting video is 7 minutes long and will only be available until June 1:

What can't be replicated is the chance to have your picture taken on the Hardy-Daytona bike or Cloud's Buster sword in real size, or a drink at the 340th Heaven Cafe, plus the missed opportunity to shop for souvenirs there.

Even part of the collaboration between both companies that the Tokyo Skytree was lit in green on April 10, the date the game was released in Japan. Today Final Fantasy VII Remake has sold over 3.5 million copies worldwide.
