Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T delays its broadcast until July

Through the official website for the animated adaptation of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T manga, it was revealed that the series broadcast will go on hiatus due to production issues related to the pandemic situation in Japan.

It will be until next Friday, July 24, when the series resumes its broadcast with episode number 16.

In addition, it was announced that this animated project was planned to conclude its broadcasts in June, but due to the presence of multiple delays, it will end until September.


The series premiered on January 10 and will have a total of 25 episodes. Members of the voice cast and production team from previous seasons return for this production, including:

  • Tatsuyuki Nagai as director at J.C. Studios Staff.
  • Shogo Yasukawa as the series composition manager.
  • Yuichi Tanaka as a character designer.
  • Maiko Iuchi as composer of the soundtrack.

Currently, the fripSide unit is performing the opening track titled “final phase”, while the band Kishida Kyōdan & The Akeboshi Rockets is performing the closing track titled “nameless story”.

Synopsis for Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T

In the futuristic Academy City, where 80% of the residents are students, many of whom are Espers who possess unique psychic powers, Mikoto Misaka is the third strongest of only seven Espers who have received the rank of level 5. The series focuses on the adventures of Mikoto and her friends; Kuroko Shirai, Kazari Uiharu and Ruiko Saten, before and during the events of To Aru Majutsu no Index.
