Fate / stay night: Heaven’s Feel III. Spring Song will premiere in August

On the official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the game Fate / stay night it was announced that the premiere of the movie Fate / stay night: Heaven’s Feel III. Spring Song will be performed on August 15 in Japanese theaters.
The statement added that this new release date is still subject to change, depending on the directives that local and national governments implement regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. On the other hand, a limited edition of the three musical themes of the trilogy performed by Aimer will go on sale on August 19.

Production team
  • Tomonori Sudou (Fate / stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, animation director for Fate / Zero) is directing the films in the ufotable studio.
  • Yuki Kajiura (Fate / stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Fate / Zero) is in charge of the musical composition.
  • Takahiro Miura is in charge of storyboards.
Heaven’s Feel is the third animated route in the visual novel Fate / stay night. A manga adaptation of the route was released in May 2015. The anime Fate / stay night premiered in 2005 and Studio Deen (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) Was in charge of its animation.

The first film, Fate / stay night: Heaven’s Feel I. Presage Flower, was released on October 14, 2017 in Japan. The second movie, Fate / stay night: Heaven’s Feel II. Lost Butterfly premiered in January 2019.
