Synopsis of Isekai Ryouridou

Tsurumi Asuta is a 17 year old high school student. He was an apprentice cook at a local restaurant called "Tsurumi-ya", which was run by his father. However, one day the "Tsurumi-ya" catches fire and Asuta launches himself into the flames to rescue his father's "santoku knife", which is said to have contained his soul, dying in the attempt.

When he woke up, he was in the middle of a strange jungle, and then he was attacked by a bear-like beast. However, Asuta is saved by a girl named Ai Fa, who calls herself part of the "People of Morihen". It is then that Asuta realized that he had reached another world.
