It was announced that author Ryoichi Koga has started publishing a new manga for the Ninin Ga Shinobuden franchise, titled Ninin Ga Shinobuden Plus on Kadokawa publisher Comic Newtype website. This new manga is a sequel to the original.

Koga published the original manga in MediaWorks publisher Dengeki Daioh magazine between August 2000 and March 2006. The publisher compiled the work in a total of four volumes.

The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Ufotable Studios, directed by Hitoyuki Matsui and scripts written by Ryunosuke Kingetsu, released in July 2004.

Synopsis Of Ninin Ga Shinobuden

Shinobu, a voluptuous young ninja in training, is a disciple of the great master Onsokumaru, who is in fact a perverted and screaming ball with wings. Onsokumaru sends Shinobu on a mission of vital importance: stealing the underwear from local high school girls!

On the verge of failing miserably, Shinobu befriends a girl named Kaede, and the two soon find themselves going on adventures under the instructions of Onsokumaru and her clan of ninjas.
