Through his personal blog, voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto revealed that the vocal cord surgery he would undergo as part of medical treatment has been performed successfully.

However, as previously announced, this is just the beginning of your treatment, as you will have to rest for a few weeks waiting for the operations to heal and for you to resume your activities as a voice actor. The resumption date of his activities will be announced as soon as it is decided through his blog and the official networks of the agency that represents him.

A few weeks ago, Okamoto mentioned that he had recently been feeling discomfort in his vocal cords on and off and that he was somehow able to complete all his recent work in the anime industry in order to start this treatment.
