Re: Zero announces a collaboration with the game Kyoto Kotoba RPG Kotodaman

Through its official site, the smartphone game Kyoto Kotoba RPG Kotodaman announced a collaboration with the Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu franchise. The collaboration consists of a special event that will take place within the game in the period between June 3 and 17 this year.


Additionally, players who log in during the event will receive the five-star character "Natsuki Subaru" for free, which can be upgraded to six stars. The collaboration also includes a series of special missions that will allow obtaining more characters from this franchise. For its part, Kyoto Kotoba RPG Kotodaman is a role-playing game for smartphones developed and distributed by Sega, and released in Japan in 2018.


About Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

Tappei Nagatsuki began publishing the light novels in April 2012 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and subsequently the Kadokawa publishing company began publishing on paper with illustrations by Shinichirou Otsuka in January 2014.

The play has inspired multiple manga adaptations and an anime adaptation released in April 2016, the second season of which will premiere in July this year after being delayed from its original date in April.

Synopsis

From one moment to the next, Subaru Natsuki has been taken to another world when leaving a store. Puzzled, he tries to understand the situation but it only worsens more and more when he is attacked by thugs. Miraculously saved by a silver-haired young woman, Subaru deeply grateful decides to help her to return the favor. Unfortunately they fail and are brutally murdered. Subaru then awakens in the place he was originally sent to, discovering that he has a unique ability, "return from death." Will Subaru be able to survive and help her savior?
