Strike the Blood IV reveals a new promotional video

On the official Twitter account for the fourth season of OVAs of the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Gakuto Mikumo and illustrated by Manyako, Strike the Blood, a new promotional video was released for the launch of the second volume, which includes the episodes # 3 and # 4 of this season.

This new launch is scheduled for July 29 in Japan, after being delayed from its original scheduled date of June 24 due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on launch planning.

Regarding the other volumes, no change in the programming has been reported yet, which is:

Volume # 3, episodes 5 and 6: September 30, 2020.
Volume # 4, episodes 7 and 8: December 23, 2020.
Volume # 5, episodes 9 and 10: March 24, 2021.
Volume # 6, episodes 11 and 12: June 30, 2021.

On the other hand, the OVA Strike the Blood: Kieta Seisou-hen was released on January 29 and was the first in the franchise to feature an original story.

Mikumo and Manyako began publishing the light novels through the Kadokawa publisher's Dengeki Bunko imprint in 2011. The publisher published the twenty-first volume on January 10 and will publish the twenty-second on August 7, with which will finish the work.

Synopsis of Strike the Blood

The school-action fantasy story begins with Kojou Akatsuki, a boy considered “the fourth parent,” the most powerful vampire in the world, who was once thought to exist only in legends and stories. In the Itogamijima area specialized for demons, a girl named Yukina Himeragi is entrusted with the task of watching over the vampire and if necessary, hunting him down.
