In the combined issue # 14- # 15 of Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine, it was revealed that the manga written and illustrated by Yuki Shiwasu, Takane to Hana, will have an epilogue chapter that will be included in a limited edition of the eighteenth compilation volume next September 18. In addition, the manga will end in the next edition of the magazine, on July 20.

Shiwasu began publishing the manga in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine in December 2014, after publishing it as a short manga. The publisher published the seventeenth compilation volume on June 19. The work inspired a live-action series that premiered in Japan in March 2019 through streaming platforms, and which aired on television in June of the same year. The series had a total of eight episodes.

Synopsis for Takane to Hana

Hana Nonomura takes the place of her older sister in an arranged marriage interview with Takane Saibara, the heir to the Takaba conglomerate where her father works. Despite her outward beauty, Takane is quite rude and arrogant, leading Hana to immediately end the interview and reveals to her that she was not even the person with whom she was scheduled.

However, Takane is actually amused by Hana's disappointment with him, and continues to haunt her even after he found out that she was not his original fiancee. Takane then tries to woo Hana by constantly taking her to fancy restaurants, elaborate travels, and buying her expensive gifts, while still striving to make her surrender to him and his lifestyle.
