The Star
of Beethoven (B no Seisen) manga, created by Morihiro Hayashi,
reached its conclusion with the publication of its final chapter in this year's
31st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine,
released last Monday.
A story
about music and redemption
The plot
revolves around Ichiro Yaso, a piano prodigy who left the world of
classical music after an incident that occurred during a competition. Although
he vowed never to play the piano again, the arrival of a mentor who claims to
be Beethoven could give him a new opportunity to redeem
himself and regain his passion.

Publishing and Upcoming Releases
The work is
available in English through Viz Media and Shueisha's MANGA
Plus digital service. Hayashi began serialization on February
10 in Weekly Shonen Jump. The first compilation volume was released
on June 4, and volumes two and three are scheduled to go on sale
on August 4.
