- The heroines of the franchise will have special broadcasts through the video distribution service GYAO !, from Yahoo!
- The first season of the anime adaptation will be broadcast through the Niconico platform on a date yet to be confirmed.
- The opening and closing sequences of both seasons of the anime adaptation will be published, without credits, through the franchise's YouTube channel.
For its part, Enterbrain published the original dating video game for the PlayStation 2 console in March 2009. The installment has inspired six manga adaptations published in different magazines, as well as a 26-episode anime adaptation produced by AIC studios, under the direction and scripts written by Yoshimasa Hiraike, released in July 2010.
A thirteen-episode second season produced by the same studio, directed by Tomoki Kobayashi and scripts written by Noboru Kimura, premiered in January 2012 under the title Amagami SS + Plus.
Synopsis of Amagami SS
Two years ago, Junichi Tachibana had a date on Christmas Eve but was left standing. Since then, he has had a hard time expressing himself with others for fear of being rejected again. Luckily, however, Junichi can have a second chance at love when he meets multiple girls with whom he is romantically interested.
As Christmas Eve approaches, Junichi can only hope that this is finally the year that he can spend the holidays with the person he loves.
