It was announced that the CG animated feature film, Lupine III: The First, will be nominated during this year's Annecy International Animated Film Festival, which will run from June 15-30.
The film was directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who also participated in directing the feature film Stand by Me Doraemon and its scheduled sequel. The feature film was released in theaters in Japan in December 2019. Furthermore, the film will compete against Bokura no Nanokakan Sensou, directed by Yuta Murano, as well as some other films selected from France, Chile, Russia and other countries.
