The publishing house GA Bunko announced that the series of Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry light novels, written by Riku Misora and illustrated Won, entered its final arc from volume number 18 which was put on sale on June 12 . However, it is not yet known how many with how many volumes this series will have in total.
Misora began publishing the light novels in July 2013 through the GA Bunko label from SB Creative. The publisher published the seventeenth volume in April 2019.
The play inspired two manga adaptations and a twelve-episode anime adaptation released in October 2015 and produced by Silver Link and Nexus studios.
