VVVtunia video game delays its release date in Japan

On the official website of developer Compile Heart, it was announced that the launch of the PlayStation 4 video game, VVVtunia, will be delayed.


According to the statement, "due to various circumstances" related to development and distribution planning, the team made the decision to delay the launch date, which was scheduled for July 2, until August 27. .

VVVtunia is an action role-playing game whose launch coincides with the tenth anniversary of the Neptunia franchise. This game follows virtual idols teaming up with Mewtral's "Me and You" to protect the planet "EMO" from the threat known as "Anti".


The installment will feature guest stars such as YouTubers Vituales from Hololive, Game Club Project, upd8, Horror Academian, ReVdol !, among others. The launch is scheduled in Japan for July 2 on the PlayStation 4 consoles.

Synopsis of VVVtunia 

 In the virtual world, networks of all dimensions coexist. In "EMO", a planet within the virtual world called "Virtualand", the invaders known as "Anti" have been destroying the ecosystem and currently the planet is on the verge of cataclysm.

However, EMO's goddesses successfully summon beings from other dimensions to protect their lands. These summoned beings were the goddesses of Gamindutri, Neptune, Noire, Blanck and Vert, as well as the Virtual YouTubers "Me" and "You", from the group "Mewtral".
