In the fifth volume of the series of light novels written by Takafumi Nanatsuki and illustrated by Ichigo Takano, Cake Ouji no Spécialité, it was revealed that the story "will continue only for a little while longer."
Nanatsuki began publishing the light novels through Shinchosha Publishing in October 2015, with illustrations by Ichigo Takano. The publisher published the fourth volume in June 2019, and the fifth on June 24.
A manga adaptation by Hoshimi SK was published on the Square Enix publisher's Gangan Comic Online website between November 2016 and September 2017. The publisher collected the work in a total of two volumes.
Synopsis of Cake Ouji no Spécialité
The story centers on a cake-loving girl named Miu, and on a very handsome man named Hayato, who hides the fact that he has trained his entire life to be an excellent pastry chef from around the world. The pair start their friendship when they meet at a bakery, and they start helping other people with their romantic problems through the pastry shop.
