Synopsis
of The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows
Life has
not been kind to Zenos. He was born in the slums and his poor and filthy
background has denied him almost every opportunity. After an encounter with a
healer, he throws himself into studying to become one and finally finds an
opportunity when an adventurer invites Zenos into his party. Zenos is
delighted, so much so that he is willing to put up with his fellow adventurers
treating him like dirt. They do not appreciate his talent and end up kicking
him out onto the streets, claiming he is no longer useful to them.
Out of
money and out of options, Zenos decides to put his self-taught skills to use
and opens an underground clinic. Word quickly spreads that this brilliant
healer works incredible magic in the city's underworld. Even the royal palace
takes notice... Can Zenos overcome the odds and make a life for himself in a
world that spits in his face? And can he save the lives of the patients who end
up on his doorstep?
