The
official site for the anime adaptation of Firehead ’s light
novels , “ A Wild Last Boss Appeared! ( Yasei no Last Boss
ga Arawareta! ),” revealed the project’s main promotional video. The
video confirms that the anime is scheduled to premiere in the Fall 2025
(October-December) period , and lists production details and the voice
cast.
Firehead began publishing the story
through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2015,
and ended it in 2017. Earth Star Entertainment subsequently began
publishing it in paperback in February 2016 with illustrations by YahaKo ,
ending it in April 2019 with a total of nine volumes. A manga adaptation
by Tsubasa Hazuki has been published through the Comic
Earth Star service since 2017, and is currently still in
serialization.
Synopsis
of A Wild Last Boss Appeared!
Ruphas
Mafahl, the black-winged lady and leader of the Twelve Stars of Heaven, has
been defeated. A man awakens in the body of Ruphas, a character from the game
Exgate, two hundred years after his defeat at the hands of the seven heroes.
The Exgate game world he knew is no longer ruled by humans, and is no longer
just a game. Exgate is a world of its own where characters think, feel, and
live just like him. Ruphas travels through Exgate in search of the long-lost
Twelve Stars of Heaven. Ruphas finds himself without a homeland, army, or
allies. One question remains: what is the real reason an ordinary man was
reincarnated in Exgate as Ruphas?
