In light of the very possible cancellation of the “Fate / Grand Order Fes. 2020 ”, the popular smartphone game Fate / Grand Order is celebrating its fifth anniversary in multiple ways. The first line of ads included a collaboration with Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine, which includes a Scáthach-based manga, and a few other spin-off works.
Additionally, the franchise launched the “Under the Same Sky” project, which includes a series of promotional illustrations in different newspapers around Japan, each one being unique and focused on one of the characters in the franchise. The last line of illustrations was published in the newspapers of the Kansai region. Fans were quick to share the photos from this massive campaign.
