Responding to the increasing popularity of light novels written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma, Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e, the Dengeki Bunko imprint of Kadokawa publishers announced that The first six volumes of this work will be reprinted one after the other.

A manga adaptation by Kayaharuka is published on the Manga Up! Website. from Square Enix publisher since July 2018. The publisher published the third compilation volume in October 2019.
The work is inspiring an anime adaptation produced by Silver Link studios, under the direction of Masafumi Tamura and scripts written by Jin Tanaka, released on July 4 and currently broadcast.
