The Cardcaptor Sakura franchise will have a new game for smartphones

On the official site for the Cardcaptor Sakura franchise, it was announced that the series is inspiring a new puzzle game for smartphones to be titled Cardcaptor Sakura Repaint Record, and to be released this summer. The official site released a promotional video for this release.


This puzzle game will feature an original story that will include the characters from the franchise. Players can also change the outfits of the protagonist Sakura Kinomoto. On the other hand, the title will be free with an internal store.


For their part, Bushiroad and Monstar Lab launched the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen - Happiness Memories smartphone game in October 2019 and ended their service on June 30. This installment was based on the manga written and illustrated by the CLAMP collective.

For its part, the Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card series is the latest anime in the franchise, and aired on Japanese television between January and June 2018.
