In this year's 16th edition of Kodansha's Evening magazine, it was announced that the manga written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Yasoko Momen, Legal Egg, will enter the plot climax of its current arc in its next chapter, 11 of August.
Kawamoto and Momen began publishing the manga in Kodansha's Evening magazine in April 2020. To date, no compilation volume has been published or announced for release.
Homura Kawamota is also the author of the manga Kakegurui, in a duet with Tohru Naomura, who published it in Square Enix publisher Gangan Joker magazine since March 2014. The work inspired an anime adaptation that aired between July and September 2017 in Japan. The second season premiered in January 2019 and the Netflix platform premiered both seasons globally.
Legal Egg Synopsis
The story centers on the lawyer apprentice who begins with a monthly salary of 135,000 yen (approximately $ 1,230).
