Kamisama Hajimemashita Author To Launch New Manga In September

In the 18th issue of Hakusensha publisher's Hana to Yume magazine, it was revealed that author Julietta Suzuki (Kamisama Hajimemashita) will begin publishing a new manga titled Kouko wa Yuuutsu, in the next issue of the magazine on September 4. . The first chapter will have a total of 46 pages, including color pages.


Suzuki published the original Kamisama Hajimemashita manga in Hakusensha Publishing's Hana to Yume magazine in 2008, and ended it in May 2016, with a total of 25 compiled volumes.

The play inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by TMS Entertainment studios, directed and written by Akitaro Daichi, released in October 2012. A twelve-episode second season premiered in January 2015.

Synopsis of Kamisama Hajimemashita

Nanami Momozono is a high school student who has a lot to deal with. Her father has evaded his huge gambling debts by escaping from the city, which resulted in the debt collectors evicting his daughter. As Nanami ponders her future, she encounters a man hanging from a man while on the run from a dog. She rescues him and tells him about her current situation, prompting the man to offer her a home. He thinks Nanami is the most suitable person to be the "Master" of the house, so she accepts. However, upon arrival, Nanami discovers that the house is a ruined shrine, and that the man she saved is not what she thought.
