The film debuted in its opening weekend at No. 1 at the box office, selling 270,000 tickets and grossing 474,890,600 yen (approximately 4.48 million yen). The premiere in theaters in Japan was held on August 15, after having been postponed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
