On the cover of the 16th compiled volume of the manga written and illustrated by Suu Minazuki, Plunderer, it was revealed that the play is very close to reaching its plot climax. The note written below the title recites: "The history of 300 years is about to reach its climax." This volume will be put on sale in Japan on August 26.

Minazuki began publication of the manga in Kadokawa publisher's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine in December 2014. The publisher published the fifteenth compiled volume on April 24.

The play inspired a 24-episode anime adaptation produced by Geek Toys studios, directed by Hiroyuki Kanbe and scripts written by Masashi Suzuki, released in January 2020.

Plunderer Synopsis

It is the year 305 on the Alcian calendar, and the world is controlled by numbers. Every human is born with a "counter", which could indicate anything from the number of kilometers you have to go or something as arbitrary as the number of times other people have tasted your food.

No matter what it means, but if the "counter" reaches zero ... you will be sent to the Abyss! After Hina's mother's counter reached zero, her last request for Hina was to search for the legendary Red Baron.
