In this year's ninth edition of Young Champion magazine by Akita Shoten, it was announced that the manga written and illustrated by Santa Inoue, Tokyo Tribe Waru, will come to an end in the next issue of the magazine, September 1 .
Inoue began publishing the manga in Akita Shoten's Young Champion magazine in July 2015. The publisher published the third compilation volume in November 2019, and will publish the fourth and final on September 17.
On the other hand, Inoue published the original Tokyo Tribe manga in Shodensha's Boon magazine between 1997 and 2005, with a total of twelve compilation volumes published. The play inspired a thirteen episode anime adaptation produced by Madhouse Studios, under the direction and scripts written by Tetsuo Satou, and released in November 2006. A live-action film was also produced and released in August 2014.
Tokyo Tribe Waru Synopsis
The story takes place after the events of the original Tokyo Tribe manga, and centers on the Shibuya Waru gang, the successor to the former Shibuya Saru.
