Virtual YouTuber and singer Kaede Higuchi, affiliated with the Nijisanji agency, announced that she will hold a live concert through the VARK virtual reality platform on September 5. Her fellow YouTuber from the same agency, Mikoto Rindou, will be participating in the concert as a guest.
The performance will only be compatible with the Oculus Quest device. Other virtual reality devices such as the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive will not be able to link to this space. The entrance ticket for the virtual reality space will cost 5,980 yen (approximately $ 56) and 4,500 yen (approximately $ 42) to watch the broadcast. Tickets for the virtual event are available on the official site of the VARK platform, while tickets for the broadcast will be on sale soon.
Kaede Higuchi finally debuted as a Virtual YouTuber in February 2018. According to her description, Higuchi is a second-year high school student living in “VR Kansai”. In January 2020, the YouTuber made her singing debut on the Lantis record label. In fact, this will be their second live concert, as the first was held in January 2019.
