In this year's 10th issue of Kadokawa Publishing's Monthly Comp Ace magazine, it was revealed that the manga adaptation of the light novels written by Carlo Zen and illustrated by Shinobu Shinotsuki, Youjo Senki, will begin its "second part" in the next issue of the magazine, on September 26.

The play ended its "first part" in the same issue of the magazine, which covered the same events as the anime adaptation. Zen began publishing the novels on the Arcadia website in 2012 and ended it in 2013. Kadokawa publisher began publishing on paper with illustrations by Shinobu Shinotsuki in October 2013, and the publisher published the twelfth volume on February 20.

On the other hand, the manga adaptation by Chika Toujou has been published in the magazine Comp Ace of the Kadokawa publishing house since April 2016. The publisher published the nineteenth compilation volume on July 21.

In addition, the novels also inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by NUT studios, under the direction of Yutaka Uemura and scripts written by Kenta Ihara, released in January 2017. An animated film that featured the same production team premiered in February 2019.
