Gokushufudou's live-action series reveals new commercial

A new commercial for the project was published on the official site for the live-action series adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Kousuke Oono, Gokushufudou.
The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 11 at 10:30 PM (Japan Standard Time), through the “Sunday TV” block of Nippon Television.

For his part, Oono has been publishing the manga on Shinchosha publisher's Kurage Bunch website since February 2018. The publisher published the fifth compiled volume on June 9 in Japan. In fact, the publisher published a promotional video to commemorate the launch of this new volume.

Gokushufudou Synopsis

Tatsu, an infamous and feared yakuza leader nicknamed "The Immortal Dragon," retires from the crime syndicate and becomes a householder to help his wife Miku. The series features a variety of comedic settings, typically featuring Tatsu's domestic activities and his intimidating disparity with his looks, as well as multiple encounters with his former colleagues and rivals in the Japanese crime syndicate.
