In this year's 42nd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, it was announced that the company will host the Jump Festa ’21 event online on December 19 and 20 of this year.
Usually the publisher organizes and holds the event in Tokyo each year, and the event features booths, video game demos, and presentations on the publisher's franchise stage. During the event, news of manga, anime, plays and video games are usually revealed.
The publisher also regularly holds a similar event known as the Jump Special Anime Festa every fall season. The company did not hold the event last year, but it will do so this year as an online event that will be broadcast on October 11. This event generally features anime specials, and this year the event will feature talk shows with voice actors from the Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen series, as well as a new promo video for the Dr. Stone: Stone Wars anime, the second season of the anime adaptation of the manga Dr. Stone. Finally, during this event the OVA based on the manga written and illustrated by Eko Mikawa, Boukyaku Battery will be screened.
