On the official Twitter account for the manga written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki, Mahoutsukai no Yome, it was revealed that the author will begin publishing a new manga in the spring or summer season of next year. The statement did not reveal further details.
Yamazaki began publishing the manga in Mag Garden publisher's Monthly Comic Blade magazine in November 2013, and moved it to Monthly Comic Garden magazine in September 2014, where it is still published. The publisher published the thirteenth compilation volume on March 10 and the fourteenth on September 10.
The play inspired a 24-episode anime adaptation produced by Wit Studio, directed by Norihiro Naganuma and scripts written by Aya Takaha, released in October 2017.
Synopsis of Mahoutsukai no Yome
Hatori Chise is barely 16 years old, but she has lost far more than most. Without family or hope, it seems that all doors are closed for her. However, a chance encounter began to turn the rusty wheels of fate. In her darkest moment, a mysterious wizard appears before Chise, offering her an opportunity that she couldn't refuse. This wizard who seems closer to the devil than to the human, will he bring her the light she desperately seeks or will he drown her in ever deeper shadows?
