According to an article published by the Mantan Web website of the Mainichi Shimbun newspaper, it was reported that, thanks to the broadcast of the animated adaptation of the manga written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru, sales have multiplied eleven times.

For its part, the series premiered on October 2. Yamanaka began publishing the manga in Kodansha publisher's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in July 2016. The publisher published the tenth compiled volume on September 9 in Japan.
