Adachi to Shimamura's first Blu-ray/DVD exceeds 2,000 copies sold

It was reported that the first Blu-ray/DVD volume of the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Hitoma Iruma and illustrated by Non, Adachi to Shimamura, reached 2,051 copies sold in its first week of release.




This volume was released in Japan on December 2nd and includes the first to third episodes of this series. The Blu-ray version is priced at 8,800 yen ($84) and accumulated 1,799 copies sold, while the DVD version is priced at 7,800 yen ($74) and accumulated 252 copies sold.


The series premiered in Japan on October 9 and is confirmed with a total of twelve episodes. In addition, Iruma and Non began publishing the light novels through Kadokawa Publishing's Dengeki Bunko imprint in March 2013.


Synopsis of Adachi to Shimamura


Adachi and Shimamura, two girls who attend the same high school and who are inseparable friends. Whether it's playing tennis, talking about their favorite TV shows, or just relaxing, they are always together. When Adachi realizes that she is physically attracted to Shimamura, their whole relationship will start to change, will it be for the better or for the worse?
