Witch Watch Synopsis
Nico
Wakatsuki has completed her six years of witch training and is moving to the
city alone. As a new witch, she must choose a familiar to keep her company.
Unlike the other witches, however, she wishes to choose a familiar that is not
an animal. There is no better companion than Morihito “Moi” Otogi, her
childhood friend who happens to be an ogre. Morihito vehemently opposes being
her servant, but reluctantly accepts his fate after learning that a curse would
turn him into a strange cow-tiger hybrid if he disobeyed a witch’s command.
With
Morihito's father away on business and Nico's mother staying behind in the Holy
Land of Witches, the two teenagers find themselves living together under the
same roof. Though Nico is thrilled to be living with her love, Morihito finds
that her magical antics and clumsiness create more problems than they solve.
With disaster prophesied to befall Nico within a year, Morihito must do his
best to protect her as her bodyguard, while also fulfilling his duties as her
familiar.
