Good Smile Company announced the launch of an articulated figure from the Figma line based on the character Hina Tsurugi from the Houkago Teibou Nisshi (Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater) cartoon series for the month of July 2021.
The figure presents Hina Tsurugi, the main character of the franchise, wearing her characteristic school uniform in navy blue and white. With different points of articulation, it is possible to recreate an endless number of positions for the character, which also includes a variety of accessories such as a fishing rod, a fish and a fish coming out of the water with a splash effect. Different and funny accessories revive the comic atmosphere of the series.
The product is 125mm high, will be priced at 8,800 yen (approximately $84), and is available for booking at the official distributor's site (link) from December 8, 2020 to January 21, 2021.
About Houkago Teibou Nisshi
It is a manga written and illustrated by Kosaka, who began publication in Akita Shoten's Young Champion Retsu magazine in February 2017. The publisher published the sixth volume of the compilation on March 19 and will publish the seventh on December 18.
The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Doga Kobo Studios, under the direction of Takaharu Ookuma, and scripts written by Fumihiko Shimo, released in April 2020.
