On the official site for the smartphone game developed by Cygames, Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, it was announced that the installment will have a PC launch in Japan via DMM Games on March 10. It should be noted that the version for smartphones is scheduled to launch on February 24 in Japan, on iOS and Android devices.

Although there is already a release date scheduled for Japan, there is no confirmation yet as to whether there are any plans to launch globally. Originally its launch was scheduled for Winter-2018 (January-March), however, it has been indefinitely delayed since then with the aim of improving the quality of the final product.

On the other hand, this franchise also inspires adaptations to manga and anime. The thirteen episode first season was produced by PAWORKS studios, directed by Kei Oikawa and scripts written by Akihiko Ishihara, released in April 2018. A second season animated by Studio Kai has been broadcast in Japan since last 5 from January.
