In different comment forums in Japan the opening of a Twitter account was reported for the light novels written by Yomu Mishima and illustrated by Monda , Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu ( Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs ). The account shared an illustration and the following message:
« Three years have passed since the first volume of the work was published, so we finally decided to open a Twitter account! Here is the official Twitter account of “Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu”. Commemorating this opening, we also show the cover illustration of the eighth volume, which will be released on June 30th ».
Mishima began publishing Monda's illustrated light novels in 2017 through the publisher Micro Magazine . The publisher published the seventh volume in January 2021, and will publish the eighth in June 2021 in Japan. A manga adaptation by Jun Shiosato has been published through Fujimi Shobo publisher's Dra Dra Sharp # site since 2018.

Leon, a former Japanese office worker, has reincarnated into the world of an otome game, and despairs when he realizes that in this world women dominate over men. It was as if men were only stepping stones to the success of the women of this world, the only exceptions being the romantic interests of the protagonist of the game, a group of beautiful men led by the crown prince of a kingdom.
In these bizarre circumstances, Leon has only one weapon: his knowledge of his previous life, where his cheeky sister forced him to complete this very game.
