The Japanese portal Getchu published the ranking of sales of adult animation productions ( hentai animes ) in Japan, registered in the period from January 1 to December 31, 2021. For this article, the Latinized names of the productions and the cover image ( hosted on an external server ), as well as the animation studio in charge and some of the relevant genres.
It should be noted that the hentai anime industry operates differently from the general anime industry, as each individual release can be considered as a different series. It is for the latter that some series will appear more than once in this list, but with different episodes that were sold more than others.
