The manufacturing company HobbyHouse Studio surprised with the launch of a 1/4 scale figure based on the character Marin Kitagawa from the Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling) franchise for some time in the fourth quarter of the year 2022 or the first quarter of the year 2023, depending on the distributor.

The character is described as follows: "Marin Kitagawa is a popular and beautiful high school girl in Gojo's class. She is very interested in cosplay and has tried to make her own, but without much success. By chance, she discovers that Gojo knows how to sew and the two bond over their mutual enthusiasm for their respective hobbies. She is a terrible cook, with a bubbly personality. Her favorite cosplayer is Juju-san, and she watches anime and plays video games for fun. Kitagawa-san is very emotionally mature, down to earth, and respectful."

The product is approximately 485mm tall and will be priced at an average of US$397. This price depends entirely on the distribution company from which the product is purchased. On the other hand, the figure includes replacements for the underwear and other accessories, being able to show Marin with the appearance of when Gojou took her measurements, or with some maid accessories while wearing sexy pink lingerie or, why not, completely naked.

Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru Synopsis

Engrossed in the family business of traditional doll making, Wakana Gojou is a reserved first-year high school student with no friends. With the painful memory of a childhood friend's disdain for his interest, Gojou can't relate to his classmates and his hobbies, causing him to isolate himself. Gojou has not yet perfected the making of the dolls' faces, but he is exceptionally skilled at making his clothes. His skill with the sewing machine is soon discovered by his beautiful classmate Marin Kitagawa, whose boldness and honesty Gojou both admires and envies. Instantly, she shares with Gojou his own hobby: she likes to dress up as erotic video game characters.

However, Kitagawa doesn't know how to sew her own outfits, which leads her to seek Gojou's expertise. Being drawn into the charming girl's endless adventures related to cosplay, Kitagawa becomes her first friend who fully accepts him. Thus, although they are polar opposites, their relationship slowly flourishes thanks to her ability to help each other in the intricate world of cosplay.
