The popular Twitter user “ Ruru | MoePop (@Ruru_Berryz) “, which tracks the anime and video game figure market, revealed that the manufacturing company Kaitendoh is preparing a scale figure based on the character Tohru (Swimsuit Ver.) from the Kobayashi-san franchise. The figure is based on an original illustration by Cool-kyou Shinja , author of the original work and many other popular franchises such as Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken ( I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying ), Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! ( Komori-san Can't Decline! ) and Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi ( The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace ). This particular illustration does not come directly from the manga, but was instead posted by the author on Twitter.
Details such as price, technical specifications and a release window will be announced soon, but it is interesting to see a product that respects the “ dimensions ” of the original manga, which is much more spicy than the Kyoto Animation adaptation , perhaps for “ the surprise . ” of those who did not know.
Synopsis for Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon
As Kobayashi leaves for work one more day, she opens her apartment door to an unusually terrifying sight: a dragon's head staring down at her from the balcony. The dragon immediately transforms into a pretty, buxom and energetic young woman dressed in a maid outfit, who introduces herself as Tohru. It turns out that the stoic programmer had run into the dragon the night before on a drunken hike in the mountains, and since the mythical beast had nowhere else to go, she had offered the creature a place to stay at the house of she. Thus, Tohru had come to take advantage of her offer, ready to repay her savior's kindness by working as her personal servant.
Although he deeply regrets his words and is hesitant to keep his promise, a mixture of guilt and Tohru's incredible dragon skills convince Kobayashi to take the girl in. Despite being extremely efficient at her job, the maid's unorthodox methods of housekeeping often end up horrifying Kobayashi and sometimes bring him more trouble than help.
