Yesterday was quite an exciting day for fans of the anime industry, aside from long-awaited announcements of sequels, the long-term collaboration project between Ufotable studios and the popular video game Genshin Impact left a lot to talk about. While fans debate the interaction between the well-known studio and the fact that HoYoverse , the company in charge of developing the video game, chose a Japanese studio to produce the project, fans are interested in a much more internal aspect.
A discussion started on a popular comment board about one aspect of the production of the unannounced, but virtually assured, anime adaptation: Who will star in the project? Aether or Lumine? Let's read some of the most outstanding responses:
- « If it is neither of them, I will never forgive them! ».
- « Does Genshin Impact have a story? ».
- « If to choose the man, the female audience will be angry. If you choose the girl, the male audience will be angry ».
- « I can't understand the story of the game. If they only do the main story in the anime, I might enjoy it ."
- « I have decided to get my hopes up with a Genshin Impact anime, although I had done the same thing years ago with Fate/Grand Order ».
- « If the "Arc of Teyvat" is carefully drawn and animated, it could be reasonably good, but that depends on the writer. I don't think that Ufotable will play it without any chance of winning ».
- « Anime based on multiplayer games are always rubbish. It turns out they have too many characters ».
- « So Ufotable will do the downgraded version of The Legend of Zelda? I guess if people don't like it, China will blame it on the Japanese ."
- « The girl should be the protagonist ».
- « If the girl stars in the story, it will be Aoi Yuuki as the voice actress. There is no better choice ».
- " Please don't repeat the same mistakes you made with Fate/Grand Order ."
- " We already know how people will react if they choose the male lead ."
- « Genshin has two good protagonists, but when it comes to China, let's not expect them to choose the girl. Also, Aoi Yuuki had problems with them ».
- " Since they say it's 'long term', I doubt the anime will come anytime soon ."
- " Even if the story is rubbish, it will be interesting to see the characters finally moving on ."
- « Is it not possible that China does not produce its animations without having to resort to Japan? I usually hear that China is making more and more progress in the animation industry, so I don't get it ."
