Written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda , Komi-san wa, Komyushou Desu ( Komi Can't Communicate ), the manga has gone through a variety of arcs, both good and bad. However, one thing is clear to readers of the franchise: the end is not yet near . That has been made pretty clear since the most recent chapter published in Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine , which marked the return of a character who could once again intensify the plot.
Fans had been enjoying a development between the already established romantic relationship between Shouko Komi and Hitohito Tadano , however, the most recent chapter kicked off an arc that will involve multiple schools, facilitating the introduction of Kawai Rami , president of the Yuushuushin Academy student council.
After more than three hundred chapters, the reader has probably forgotten her completely, but she is Tadano's first love. It should be remembered that he confessed to her during their high school years by writing "I love you" in the schoolyard, but he was rejected! However, when Komi-san arrives and Tadano introduces her as her girlfriend to Kawai, the chapter closes with the latter spitting out the phrase: « You are evil. Do you say this knowing that you already have me? », leaving the two protagonists speechless.
The next chapter will be titled as “ The Dark Past ( The Dark Past )”, so it is very possible that it will explain what happened as Kawai Rami after Tadano's statement up to this point. However, the introduction of a new romantic rival has surprised the fans , who did not hesitate to leave their comments about it:

Sinopsis de Komi-san wa, Komyushou desu
It's Shouko Komi's first day at the prestigious Itan Private High School, and she's already become the Madonna of the school. With her long black hair and her tall and elegant appearance, she catches the attention of anyone who crosses her path. However, there is a problem: despite her popularity, Shouko is terrible at communicating with others. Hitohito Tadano is your typical high school boy. With his life motto of “reading the situation and making sure to stay out of trouble”, he quickly discovers that sitting next to Shouko has made him the enemy of everyone in his class.
One day, passed out by accident, Hitohito wakes up to the sound of Shouko's “meow”. He lies saying that he hasn't heard anything, which makes Shouko run away. But before she can escape, Hitohito guesses that Shouko isn't able to talk to others easily; in fact, he has never been able to make a single friend. Hitohito decides to help Shouko in her goal of making a hundred friends so that she can overcome her communication disorder.
