A press release reported that the light novels written by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru , I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability ( Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu ) They will have an anime adaptation. The press release revealed production details but did not list a scheduled release date.
Kenkyo na Circle and Meru began publishing the light novels through Kodansha 's K Ranobe Bunko imprint in July 2020. A manga adaptation by Yousuke Kokuzawa has been published through the Magazine Pocket digital service since June 2020. It should be noted that the novels sprung up independently from the Shousetsuka ni Narou service in October 2019.
