A press release announced the production of an anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yone Sawata , Acro Trip . The statement did not reveal production details, but confirmed that the project will be a television anime series that will premiere in 2024 in Japan.

- How did you feel when you found out about animation production? Really? It will happen? But it looks like it's really going to happen, and I'm scared and happy at the same time. It's strange and exciting to think that something I've drawn moves, talks and makes sounds. What scenes do you expect to see in the animation? I'm looking forward to seeing everything. I'm especially glad to have the backgrounds drawn by hand. I always had to draw them myself...
Sawata began publishing the manga in Shueisha's Monthly Ribon magazine in February 2017 and ended it in November 2022, with Shueisha publishing the fourth compiled book volume in February 2022.
Synopsis of Acro Trip
The comedy centers on Chizuko Date, an otaku girl who lives in a city in Niigata Prefecture. Chizuko is obsessed with Berry Blossom, the magical girl who protects the city. However, Chroma (the leader of the local evil organization Fossa Magna) is inept and weak, so hardly anyone cares anymore about the frequent battles between Berry Blossom and Chroma. Chizuko vows to expose the magical girl's exploits, and this fervent wish leads this seemingly shy high school girl down a dark path filled with strange people...
