On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yone Sawata , Acro Trip , a special promotional video was revealed to celebrate the release of the fifth compiled volume of the original work. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for the year 2024 , and reveals the production details of the project.
Sawata began publishing the manga in Shueisha's Monthly Ribon magazine in February 2017 and ended it in November 2022, with Shueisha publishing the fourth compiled book volume in February 2022, followed by the fifth in January 2023 in Japan. .
Synopsis of Acro Trip
The comedy centers on Chizuko Date, an otaku girl who lives in a city in Niigata Prefecture. Chizuko is obsessed with Berry Blossom, the magical girl who protects the city. However, Chroma (the leader of the local evil organization Fossa Magna) is inept and weak, so hardly anyone cares anymore about the frequent battles between Berry Blossom and Chroma. Chizuko vows to expose the magical girl's exploits, and this fervent wish leads this seemingly shy high school girl down a dark path filled with strange people...
