A press release reported that the webtoon written by Yuin and illustrated by Mini , Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp , will get an anime adaptation. The press release did not list a scheduled premiere date, but did note that while the original material was published in South Korea, the anime adaptation will be produced in Japan.
Yuin and Mini published the original webtoon through KakaoPage between September 2017 and February 2021, collecting the work into a total of ten volumes. This is one of those few cases in which a finished work gets an anime adaptation, and it turns out that a "manga conversion" is currently in publication in Japan.

Doctor Song Jihyun is considered a prodigy among Korean surgeons, known for her ability to save patients regardless of their condition.
