A press release officially announced that the light novels written by FUNA and illustrated by Sukima , I Shall Survive Using Potions! ( Potion-danomi de Ikinobimasu! ), will have an anime adaptation that will premiere this year in Japan . The statement did not reveal production details, but did reveal the participating voice cast.
This is the third light novel by the author FUNA to get an anime adaptation, after Watashi, Nouryoku wa Heikinchi de tte Itta yo ne! ( Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! ) and Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai from 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu ( Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement ).
FUNA began publishing the light novels through Kodansha 's K Ranobe Bunko imprint in May 2017. A manga adaptation by Hibiki Kokonoe has been published through the Suiyoubi no Sirius digital service since June 2017.
Sinopsis of I Shall Survive Using Potions!
Kaoru Nagase died unexpectedly while coming home from her office job one night, when she suddenly finds herself in front of a man dressed in white. The man introduces himself as God and apologizes for the mistake that caused her untimely death, promising to make it up to Kaoru by reincarnating her in another world. The otherworldly goddess, Celestine, reforms Kaoru's body and gives her all the concessions she asks for: the body she had when she was 15, the ability to make potions with effects of her choice, and a box with infinite storage space, to name a few.
But soon, Kaoru realizes that despite being told otherwise, this new medieval world doesn't have much magic, making her potions highly coveted by greedy nobles. However, thanks to the knowledge acquired in his previous life, Kaoru will be able to find a way to survive in this world using his potions.
